Seems like a decent enough unit- not sure how well you can make out things like license plates though. Overall not bad.

But the mirror was nearly twice the size of my (modern) MINI’s mirror. The Mini’s mirror is compact, but not that small. As a result, since i am tall, the new mirror would have obscured half of my horizontal view, right where pedestrians would appear. Didn’t even plug it in—i put it back in the box and brought it back in to the store :/

And the Geek Squad installers, Mike and his partner, are experts in the backup camera world and in caring for the customer. What happened is that wiring had to hang down from the cabin ceiling, degrading the clean look of the car interior. Then, when driving, the rear view mirror overlay camera would be foggy and vibrate. My 1999 Acura Integra coupe will become a classic this coming August. So the product is good but my vehicle simply can't accommodate it. Best Buy, its personnel, and its warranty are first class, but my car just couldn' handle it.
