They're designed to be plugged into a power source while you drive.

The unit still turns on (sometimes), but I can't access any of the features on it.

I’ve bought two and as soon as my return period ends the power port decides to go out and. Sometimes you have to wiggle the cable in order for the screen brightness to even work

So when it rains, I cant see hello we're in Oregon.

This is after being professionally installed and following all manufacturer guidelines. Also using only the highest quality micro memory cards.
