Positives: It can record both front and back came views as you are driving. And bestBuy installation did a fantastic job. Negatives: Lots! Visibility at night is very poor. If there is sun coming into the car, then due to reflections, you cannot see the image at all but instead see the reflections due to sunlight. It's unusable. When reversing, the angle of the camera isn't as good as a built in camera.

Please keep in mind that the GPS in our dashcams is a GPS logger as opposed to GPS navigation. Our GPS information can keep track of your speed and the location of where the video footage was recorded. We apologize for this inconvenience!

I bought it as a back up camera and it’s horrible for that. It doesn’t give any beeps or notification of how close you are to the object behind you. Also the screen itself is way too big it’s always shining right in my face as I drive I’m constantly turning it off I wish I could exchange it for another Camera so much. Plus I use the Best Buy installation service so I paid close to $500 for this horrible horrible horrible Camera. I can’t stand this thing

Stopped recording for long patches of time

This doesnt work and it randomly stops recording in the front. The front is the most VITAL! I looked for a video and realized I have large patches of time not recorded. Usually it is about 5-45 minutes that it wont record. It also wont stop recording with the parking sensor. It records all the time even when there is no motion.

It's a glare over the mirror keeping you from see in reg day light even worst in the sunlight. I can only use it for a regular mirror.

Posted .Hi! this is a mirror also, so it will have glare if the screen is on. we recommend using the screen saver option so the display can shut off while it records in the back ground. then you can use it as a regular mirror.

After sundown the view looks like the illustration. In a daytime parking garage setting, the M2 is also useful but in any sunlit application the complexity of the view is multiplied and of little use.

Posted .Good morning! Thank you for your review. The sun and headlights can cause issues, so to avoid distractions, you can press the power button once to turn off the screen, so you can use it as a regular rearview mirror. The camera will still continue to record.
