Posted .HI! Thank you for your review. The red wire connecting the camera to the reverse lights may not have been installed. You can change the view of the camera to only show the rear camera also.

Backup camera great, rear view mirror is terrible.

The backup camera view is very good, but the installation on my car (I was told this was the best device for my car) has the rear view mirror only showing me the back of the back seats. Can't see the rear window at all. I have an appt soon to try to fix this, but I feel the problem is the connectors are blocking the ability to raise the mirror any higher and actually see out my rear window again.

Posted .HI! Thank you for your review! Yes, it does sound like the mirror just needs to be adjusted so that it can view out the back window. The Geek Squad should be able to adjust the wiring to allow you to move your mirror like a normal rearview mirror.

That accounts for running wires setting clock and date which was pretty much set for us already except for GMT 8. Put in SD card everything worked sound video I like the fact that I can touch the screen and adjust the camera up and down very wide angle I love my new dash cam. My Ford F-150 already has a backup camera so I'm trying to decide what I want to do with the extra camera. GPS is already set up. We check GPS with latitude and longitude it was perfect right at my house. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Posted .HI! This sounds like it was due to a malfunctioning hardwire kit or the hardwire kit was installed incorrectly which will cause your battery to drain. Please reach out to us directly and we will replace your hardwire kit.

Posted .HI! We usually recommend for customers to install it while looking at the camera to ensure the rear camera matches up perfectly with the back up lines. You can also scroll up and down to see more of the image on the screen!

Rexing M2 Dash Cam

The naysayers that have posted reviews may have a point or two, but I have not had any problems thus far. I really am satisfied with the interface, and design. I purchased the Rexing Intelligent Hardwire Kit, it makes the camera more superior. When backing up, I enjoy looking at the crisp, clean, clear view in my rear-view mirror. The added safety features such as Lane Departure Assist, and the Blind Spot Warning are a tad bit touchy, but still a bang for your buck. According to Geek Squad, this product is not the most long lived, and recommended back up camera. I for one am enjoying it as of now, and hope I continue to do so.
