I ended up needing to exchange this product because it really wasn't compatible with my vehicle.

Great device with impressive functionality. However, I would have happily given Rexing and this particular model 5 stars if it weren’t for a few significant flaws worth mentioning: 1.) the GPS video playback is only supported by Windows and Mac operating systems, so if you own a Chromebook, you’re out of luck with this feature. 2.) the application to support the WiFi feature is hit or miss (check out its reviews on the App Store or Google). Yet again, another great feature rendered obsolete by poor execution on behalf of Rexing. If they would just remedy these two entirely fixable issues, I’d be writing a sterling review right now.

Was hoping to hardwire up the V1P Pro Plus this weekend but hardwire kit that came with dash cam is of type mini fuse. Newer car models use micro2 and micro3 fuse so the attached fuse hardwire kit is useless and Best Buy or Rexing doesn’t carry micro2 fuse connector. They should have different fuse type adapter so consumers can order at time of purchasing dash cam. I ordered an add-a-circuit and waiting for it; dash cam not in use so cannot say anything about it.

Pros I found were the price, ease of installation and WiFi connectivity. Cons are the WiFi is slow and the Fuse box attachment that came with the unit only fits older cars up to the late 2010 era. A separate micro fuse holder must be purchases and attached to the existing wire for 90% of modern cars. I have not purchased the GPS module or any accessories for this Dash cam.

Bought this as the Best Buy deal of the day. Easy to install and easy to use. Bought this in January and it’s now June and haven’t had any issues as of yet.

The day i connected this dash cam, some incodent happend and it helped me because i could take that out in no time because of wifi. I love this dash cam. So clear videos.

If you are getting a dash cam with a rear camera you have to get one that is 1080p or higher like this one. Anything below 1080 its hard to read license plate.

I'm pretty sure this was brand new but it did have inspected by best buy tape all over the box. So i got it all wired and powered up and settings correct. It worked great for 2 days, power on, power off constantly while driving. So my initial thought was great but quickly dwindled into this thing is garbage. A $200+ dash cam couldn't last! I did check all of my cigarette lighter plugs since my Land Rover has them everywhere. I will however give the Bestbuy crew 5 stars for great customer service. They are hooking me up with another new one. Let's hope it's also not a piece of junk. If so I'll go with another brand!

This camera is top notch With a very clear if you even at night. So happy with the purchase and I highly recommend to anyone else out there.

easy to install and setup. Easy to get app up and running

The Rexing V1P Pro dual camera has excellent quality video but it definitly has some room for improvement in other areas. The first thing that I noticed when comparing it to my existing Rexing camera was it was much larger. I barely noticed my other front camera - but now I feel like it sticks out like a sore thumb (especially to thieves). I worry about someone breaking into my car for the camera now - whereas I didn't worry about that before. And it's not something you want to be taking up and down - even though it is easy enough to do. I run the camera through the only "plug" I have on the car. That does sacrifice room to charge other devices if you have an older car without multiple ports. One thing that has improved since the last Rexing camera is the sticky pads that hold it to the windshield. The new 3m pads hold the camera in place - but you have to make sure you have the camera exacly where you want it. I used a suction cup device to mount the last camera because the pads they provided did not stick. Unfortunatley, you can't use a suction cup mount with this unti because it is just too large. It definitly has some nice features with the built in GPS and WIFI capability. It's a good camera with a few bugs to get worked out.

This little camera has outstanding video quality. I like that it can put a time stamp and my car tag stamp on the video. It's small and unobtrusive.

A necessary tool when driving your vehicle to record events.

I bought the camera system and am happy with its operation in the event of a traffic accident or unusual experience; however, I have had difficultly linking the app on my phone with a number of attempts. I know the camera is working and that's the most important thing ( I didn't by it to watch the recordings frequently).

This is a kit. It comes with a front and rear camera.. Wiring and all necessary items needed. Easy install, easy use.

I've been a Rexing customer for years. I decided to upgrade to this camera since it had a rear camera and I can connect to my phone. Well, the WiFi feature doesn't seem to work, It tries to connect but the camera powers off (it's still connected to power). And no matter what I do, I cannot get the date/time to save. Everytime I get in the car, it's reset to the future. I've reset the camera and made sure firmware is updated. Support is the absolute WORST (and yes, I understand there is a pandemic, but they read your messages and don't reply). I tried to make it work, but It's time to explore a different brand.

This dash cam is great- easy to use and had installed by Best Buy Geek Squad. front and rear cameras are really nice to have.

Just like the rest except it doesn't have to side to move the camera. But can still reach and move it, also comes with hardwire kit, but it has a regular 15amp fuse connected to it. So if want to hardwire it. If your vehicle has only mini fuses that size. Then you will want to get a fuse tap.

Returning immediately. Worst product I’ve gotten in a while. Couldn’t use the camera right of the box because of a “Memory error”. Tried reformatting the card several times but that didn’t work. Go to Rexing website and watch the video how to update the firmware. It’s ridiculous…what’s the point of built in Wi-Fi if I can’t update the firmware that way??! Absolutely astonishingly poor product. I can’t even use this thing! DO NOT BUY!!!
