Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I would have read the reviews about the app on the IOS app store before purchasing this dash cam. The main reason I bought this camera was the ability to download videos to my iPhone. The app is absolutely horrible. The app locks up, even with a wifi connection to the camera. Can't download videos. It takes over a minute for a live video to come up. Forget about even tapping the settings icon, that freezes the app too. If you don't have your iPhone connected Wifi to the camera, when you try to open the app it just crashes. I also wanted to install the hard wire to 12v constant for capturing video while my car was parked. The hard wire would not work at all. I properly installed it and tested connections with a volt meter. Still, hard wire would not work. The camera feels cheap and the execution of the build quality is sub-par.

Looks nice and packaging comes with everything you need to have it professionally installed by Best Buy. Install was quick and nice. Works good. The camera seems to work well, decent screen image for such a small device. The negative is there were no instruction manual with this device. Didn’t know how to set it up or what the buttons and what to push for what. Accidentally came across a digital manual online and saved it to my cloud drive for review and learned how to setup and what is what on the device. Even then it took a little bit to understand the process.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this recently and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to setup and install in the vehicle. instructions and videos were a big help and features such as the instant on when utilized will be a benefit for hit and run victims who are left footing the bill with no evidence or proof if this camera were not to be used. Also the he said she said scenario or people who change their story after and incident or accident will be left dead in their tracks with your new rexing camera installation holding the evidence on a SD card for review. I'm hoping to install a few more in my other vehicles shortly. Great camera for the small investment.

30 dollars quality...

The system software is really bad, and the app is even worst. Downloading a 3 minutes video takes forever. You are better off, buying a chip cell phone and record with it. I had to returned it to the store. Thank you Best Buy, for taking it back.
