Records high quality footage. Wifi connectivity is slow, and will drop the connection while uploading files. Overall, good value, and meets my needs.

This is a good dash cam with a lot of features, but details are the issue. The controls are simple, but that's part of the problem. A dash cam is for the most part forgotten once installed. The problem is when you want to keep a recorded clip, you forget which button to push. They are not labelled at all and it gets very confusing. Then there's the video quality. It's so grainy that you can't read license plates like they claim. I even tried the SD card they specifically recommend and set for the highest recording quality and still no way to read the plates on the car right in front of me. I don't know if part of this is because of the mount. After about a year of use, the camera is loose in the mount and shakes constantly. I don't think the image stabilization can keep up. As a general use dashcam, its great for front and inside facing camera. But there are much cheaper options under a $100 that will give you the same features and video quality.

This dash cam was easy to install and get up and running. However, if you want to go through the mode settings to customize for your personal preference, you're pretty much on your own. The Quick Start Guide is woefully inadequate. It only tells you how to find the settings, it doesn't list them or explain what they do or their options. For Example, Loop Recording's default is one minute. (I didn't even know what loop recording meant.) Since this is my first dash cam, I had to learn about this when I took my first recorded trip that was fifteen minutes long and found that the video was broken into 30 separate one minute segments. Fifteen for the front camera, fifteen for the cabin camera. (Dual HD recording is the default setting). The Quick Start Guide doesn't even mention this subject, and there's no in depth User Manual either. If you turn off Loop Recording, the segments are 15 minutes long. The options were if I remember correctly, one, two, three minutes or off; maybe one, three, five, off. The video images are excellent, the camera performs well under any and all light conditions, from inside an unlit garage to full sun and in the dark. Two thumbs up for video quality! On my concern side, this camera gets fairly warm when recording, and today when I took a trip driving into the sun with a 90 degree temperature outside, it got pretty hot. I'm wondering if it's approaching that 176 degree maximum operating temperature. Will it outlast its one year warranty? There are about a half dozen or so resolution settings, but if you turn on the Advance Driver Assistance System (Lane & Distance Warnings) you can only use the default of Dual HD 30FPS, which uses more memory. Of course, you can always download then erase the downloaded segments. I really like the GPS feature, be sure to download the GPS Logger software so you can view your videos with the GPS screen along side. The software is free on the Rexing site. There's 2 options for downloading, by WiFi using the Rexing Connect App on a smart device, or just connecting the camera with the supplied USB cable to a PC or laptop. Downloading by WiFi is slower than using USB. But the App is nice for having videos on a mobile device, and also the camera settings can be changed from the App when connected. Lastly, to use recording while parking, you have to have the Smart hardwire kit installed, which my camera did not come with. (Although now there's some package deals out there with this kit included.) According to the Rexing website it's needed if your 12v outlet doesn't have power when the engine is off. My 12v outlet is always on, but when I tried to turn on Parking Recording it said the Smart Hardwire Kit was required to use this function. Too bad this camera doesn't have cloud or call functions, but it does have many nice features and overall it's a great dash cam. My yes recommendation is a cautious one because of my longevity concern over the heat issue.

Would not recommend. I live in the northeastern region of the United States and weather varies greatly from hot and humid summers and bitterly cold winters. Constantly shutting down and restarting while on the road.

Video recording quality is good for front and rare both recordings.

If it says “Rexing” then you know it’s a fantastic dashcam! Install it, set it, and forget it!

Didn’t like the size bulkiness when trying to find a mount location. Didn’t work for me and returned the next day

1st one I bought never turned on. After returning it to another store in another state, I got a replacement. The replacement works but the screen seems to be falling out every couple of days. Just lazy to go to the store for another replacement. Had high hopes for this device until I actually got it.

I love the wide viewing angle it has and how sharp the video is in motion.

Good camera 1080p might not be enough to see license plate numbers though. You might want to go 4K
