Last summer, a commercial delivery driver decided sitting in traffic for an extra 30 seconds was too much to handle and decided to back up, right into the front of my brand new car. After exchanging information and going on about our ways, I realized that the situation could have turned into a dispute if that driver simply lied and said that I hit him. That got me started in looking for a suitable dashcam to potentially protect myself against future incidents. The Rexing unit was easy enough to install. The included panel tool made it easy for me to route the power cable under the headliner, tuck it behind the A-pillar and under my dash to the 12-volt, cigarette lighter plug. Rexing makes a "hardwire kit" that I might consider, although my car has two 12 plugs up front (plus a standalone USB), so I'm not sure I really need it since I was able to use the included adapter and route the cable inconspicuously. The camera powers up nicely when I start my car and shuts down promptly when I turn the car off. I mounted the camera to the right of my rear-view mirror and while I'm sitting in the driver's seat, I don't even realize it's there. The video resolution is solid and there's plenty of features built-in, many of which I haven't even began to explore yet. I haven't decided if the rear-facing camera for in-car and partial rear car recording is a benefit or if I'd rather have the higher resolution yet. For the most part, I'm using just the default settings for everything. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the camera. I consider it something like insurance in that I hope I never need it!

First dash cam and it's a cool thing. It was easy to figure out. Plug it in, it comes with the SD card. My power turns off/on when I turn my car off/on, so as soon as I turn on my ignition, the camera turns on automatically and starts recording. The picture is also very clear.

I've had this dash cam for about a week. Install was pretty easy. It comes with 2 windshield mounts, quite sturdy, but I would have liked to have seen a dash mount option. The included cable is definitely long enough to route around the windshield and hide. Set up was a bit confusing due to a very fiddly menu button. You're supposed to push it twice to get into the menu. I have to keep jabbing it randomly until the menu decides to pop up. What I'm also disappointed in is that I cannot review the video except on the camera. The wifi app says no camera connected even though it shows connected on the camera and on the phone. I formatted the memory card in the camera per the directions and my windows laptop and Chromebook will not recognize anything on the card. I'm usually quite good at figuring out electronics but this is annoying.

This is my first dash cam, so I really didn’t know what to expect going in to this product but I have to say that so far, I’m quite pleased. Out of the box its just the equipment to get everything up and running. I would say the actual installation process was quite simple. Basically you plug in the camera to the cigarette adapter in your car for power. The process from start to finish probably took just about an hour and was fairly easy for those that have installed radios, or dash mounted GPS. The only real challenge is how to hide the power cord. Since I use it in two vehicles having a second window mount was great. I installed a hard wire in one vehicle and the only issue was finding a fuse the same amperage as those on the camera. Should you blow a fuse the preinstalled ones cannot be changed.

It’s been almost 4 years since i bought this dash cam, at the beginning was very difficult to download videos using the app but now is easy, dash cam is still working but now the inside camera infrared lights are no working and the last video when I turn off my car is always corrupted and can’t be seen, another thing is that the video image is not that good, sometimes you can’t even distinguish car plate numbers.

So far it has worked perfectly for me, good recording quality and the finishes look professional, so I'll wait for it to work as promised

I have to say I am very impressed with this Rexing - V3 Plus Front and Cabin Dash Cam. Very solid construction. Very good resolution on video. And the cabin camera is sweet. My only hangup was the companion app. A very nice dash cam like this deserves a much better app. I really recommend this one for the rideshare workers.

Pretty much sums it up... Great picture on both camera's but GPS won't work. Bummer. I would recommend to a friend based on picture quality but if GPS is important, it's a no-go.

Rexing - V3 Plus Front and Cabin Dash Cam is great. I love it. This unit can withstand hot and cold temperatures so I can leave it in the car all the time and not worry about the battery. The pictures and video are great and very detailed and vivid. The unit is small so it doesn't take up too much space on the dashboard. It is not in the way of your line of vision of the road. It is an excellent product and I would definitely recommend it as an absolute must need purchase.

For the price you can't buy a better dash cam. Very clear videos and easy to install. The ADAS is also very responsive and helpful if your car doesn't have the technology. Like it way better than my previous dash cam purchase. My only suggestion for the manufacturer is to provide a more detailed on-line user guide to further explain all of the menu options.

Great camera for the money. Quality audio and video. Impressive cabin and exterior field of view. Purchased a second one for another vehicle.

When I bought the dashcam I had never installed a dashcam before. However, I was able to read the instructions and install the dashcam without a problem. The only cons to the dashcam instructions it was not thorough to give instructions on how to tick the power-cable into the car upholstery. In addition, the instructions do not cover what the SanDisk is for. And the instructions do not cover linking the dash Cam to your iPhone and Wifi.

Love his camera. The quality is extremely good and the features like the GPS and the g sensor. The only thing I didn't really like was that you can't watch footage when ever you'd want if you're away from the cam. You have to connect to the cam every time if you wanna view recorded footage or live footage. Other than that great quality.

I love my dashcam. I can see clear at night time. I love mph.

Good: Basically a good camera. Great resolution for reading license plates. Infrared for the interior camera. Bad: Camera will get HOT! And if you hook the power to a constant source, it will stay hot. And this will cause you to burn through SSD cards. I learned that I have to remember to turn mine off when parked at home and/or remove the SSD card. Also, the app, in their words, is still a work in progress. It has limited functionality. Too limited, in my opinion. You can save videos to your mobile device, but then you can't do anything with them. Instead, you have to remove the SSD card and insert it into a USB adapter and plug it into your computer. Also, there are some settings you can set through the app, but a lot more that you can't. It would be nice if the app had more usability to it.

Good camera, but clunky/slow while trying to look through the videos on the app, and the fact you cannot record/use both front and rear cameras at the same time make it so this is kind of overpriced by $50. The whole reason I bought the one with 2 cameras is so that both of them are recording at the same time. This is really a one channel camera with an option to switch back and forth

Worst dash cam ever. I installed this device and it worked fine however, it suddenly started turning off snd on while driving. Eventually it would spend most of the time off or resetting itself and didn’t really serve the purpose of recording. Din’t bother wasting nearly 200 bucks on this dumb camera.

It's a good dash cam for the money. I've had pretty much no issues and I've had it about a year.

I got this as a gift because I’d been wanting a dash cam. This takes very high quality video of both outside the car as well as inside. It also keeps track of my speed. It will come in very handy if I’m ever in an accident and need proof that I was not speeding or texting. The only thing I wish this had was the ability to add a camera that looks out the back of the vehicle.
