The monthly monitoring is less, the notifications and app is better. I miss the keyfob alarm but hey I have my phone. I can use my phone so no loss. Everything else is better, the motion detection is alot more responsive, the doorbell can run on batteries and doesn't need to be hard wired. My tiny house needed to have battery operated doorbell because the house was built in 1920. Overall I am impressed.
