These contact sensors work extremely well when activated.

Not a single purchase this goes with the base system

The installer could not get the sensor to connect online. We can’t review how it works until installation is complete. Installation has been delayed. Our installer was supposed to come today to upgrade the mesh internet booster and reinstall and finish installing our security system. Evidently he was in a car accident a few days ago and couldn’t come today. No one contacted us to let us know. Fortunately he is okay but I just wish someone would have let us know he wasn’t coming. We waited for him all day. Now our installation is further delayed. We are very frustrated.

out of all the sensors i bought these were defective. would not sync up. had to return. others work fine, so i cant say they are terrible. just make sure they sync when installing.

Works most of the time but when it updates it doesn’t tell you and shuts the alarm off. Very confusing to set up and replace. Very very expensive.

The sensors work fine but they are made a very cheap plasticif you're not extremely careful they will break the first time you have to change the battery

not sure how I feel yet. We have the alarm system which works okay but our doors aren't even so our app says one door is open.

Good device although lacks connectivity sometimes. Often alerts my ring app that one of the device on the window is "disconnected"

Continue to have issues with a door that gets a lot of opening and closing. Not very secure on first install. Better now.

So far so good, I wish they would add some programming features so you could use full functionality of alerts etc even when it’s not armed.

They work but it you use them in certain places they come off and you have to replace them

The Alarm Contact Sensors work well and is always in contact with the wifi system. No problems as of yet.

I love the ring alarm systems especially their cameras. The app is amazing, monitoring service is very inexpensive, BUT this door sensors are by far the worst ever. I hope they do something to make them more slim/discrete and more resistant.

These work and are detected by ring alarm system, but are expensive for such a simple sensor.

They work, but not for all doors. if you have a recessed door it's hard to get the contact

Love the concept, however one of the sensors isn’t operating correctly.

If you are mouthing them using the adhesive be very cautious. Dropping them causes the case not to close properly and it will set it self to tampered status which will drain the battery. It uses a CR123A battery and those aren’t cheap. Great product just gotta be careful with installation.

Turns out we didn't need the extra sensors for the system we bought.

The Ring Alarm System has been the worst purchase I have EVER made. We purchased 5 motion sensors , 38 contact sensors, range extender, base and keypad. The base has recently stopped connecting to our wifi, yet shows that its still connected (app will not connect to base) and the contacts randomly drop offline. We have a 3 unit orbi ac3000 system so it can't be wifi as the signal is strong all the way around our property (0.7acre) and in every area of our home. This is unacceptable for the cost and application. I cannot trust this system to adequately and reliably serve as our security system. I wish I could return this garbage but our return window has passed. Had a wireless ADT system in our previous house that never gave issues. I highly recommend avoiding this product.

Haven’t installed it yet so can’t really review it.
