It has not lost connection and works as it should. I have the 1st gen Ring Alarm and this is the first 2nd gen accessory I have added. It works seamlessly.

This system with these sensors is an affordable way to have a wide security system considering how much you are protecting.

These work just fine. Haven't searched in a while, so I don't know if Ring offers a 6-pack of the 2nd gen sensors. If so, and you need that many, that's the way to go... #math

Took me about 2 mins to install. The setup with thr ring app is very easy as well. Definitely recommend. Only negative point is its size. Though it fits fine.. if it was smaller it wouldnt be so easy to see.

Definitely worth the extra couple of bucks. Although bigger they pack more tech
