Only wishing we had purchased the system sooner. This has added to our peace of mind while we are home and away.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was a replacement for one sensor which was part of a whole house Ring security system installation by Best Buy contractors several months ago. The two piece original was not installed properly. It was placed on the top of the door frame and the door, The frame piece kept collapsing below the level of the top of the door and blocked the door from shutting. The installer repaired by screwing the piece into the door frame (not an advised installation). Everything has worked ok since.

Unfortunately, I needed additional sensors. I was able to purchase the bundled sensors at an awesome price at Best Buy!

Door has glass panes so wanted extra security. Product well made and I really like the concept, but had to return because I have a decorative interior door casing which prevented the sensors from aligning perfectly. Rated 3 stars because did not see any information in product description about potential alignment issues with door casings.

Great addition to ring alarm system

One sensor was a little far from the base station so I move the extender into the room this sensor was being installed and the sensor connected! These new sensors are a lot smaller than the ones that came with my ring alarm.

But naturally common sense woulda clicked in, that it just doesn’t work as we want. Needs more for it to sound.
