Nice addition to my ring system

It was not cool when I purchased a set of 6 and 1 came non functioning and I had to take them off and return the whole set. I purchased a few sets that had that issue but when i did get them all, they worked good.

It sounds like your device is not performing as you expected. The Ring Alarm Contact Sensor expands your Ring Alarm system to secure each door and window in your home, and you can get alerts as soon as they open. Below are some steps to reset your Ring Alarm Contact Sensor:
Slide the Contact Sensor off its base. Ensure that the batteries are installed and that you are within three to five feet of the Base Station.
Use a pin, paperclip, or sim card ejector to press and hold the pinhole reset button.
After the LED light turns off, release the reset button.
Re-add the Contact Sensor to your Ring Alarm using the Ring app.

I adds easily to my existing Ring system to cover an area that I had forgot about when originally ordering my system.
