Have to regularly reconnect them to the base station, sometimes the base station can't even find them. Too bad I'm already in over $1000 for the ring system. Its not really all that great.

Based on your review, it seems like you are having trouble with your Ring Alarm Contact Sensor staying online. If this is the case, we recommend moving your range extender closer to the device. Moving the Range Extender may help your Contact Sensor have a better connection to your Ring Alarm Base Station and stay online. So far, so good. It connected right away and hasn't had any issues. Smaller than the 1st gen too.

It was not cool when I purchased a set of 6 and 1 came non functioning and I had to take them off and return the whole set. I purchased a few sets that had that issue but when i did get them all, they worked good.
