      Hi MyWatchBling.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us.

We understand how critical it is to be able to monitor the comings and goings of your home with the Ring Alarm Contact Sensors. The features and technology provided by the Ring Alarm are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We want to ensure your device is working as intended by providing you with solutions to resolve the concern you mentioned in your review.

It sounds like you are attempting to connect the Ring Alarm Contact Sensors to the Ring app. The Ring Alarm Contact Sensor is designed to connect to your Ring Alarm Base Station to monitor your doors and windows. The contact sensor is made up of two parts: the sensor and the magnet. When installed on your door or window, it can tell if the door or window is open or closed.

To set up your Ring Alarm Contact Sensor with your Ring Alarm Base Station, follow these steps:

Make sure your Ring Alarm is disarmed.
In the Ring app, tap Menu, then tap Set Up a Device, then tap Security Devices, then tap Sensors, and tap Contact Sensor.
Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.
