    Re-Did my home security with these all over. Easy to install easy to use and easy to access the battery when they need replacing in 3-4 years. Definitely worth it if you use ring/Alexa for the rest of your home.

    They work with gen1. We bought the alarm system quite awhile back. We needed to add sensors. I don't have the alarm monitored. We need a text alert not an email.

    I decided to start upgrading my contact sensors from the 1st generation to the second generation and they are worth the money. It is smaller which takes up less space and it looks nicer
