All my doors and windows have one of these installed. Better yet, the installation was free with the total tech program. I really can't say enough about all the free installation I've received.

Until one of them gets “tampered” (basically a tiny bump on the inside doesn’t align just right so it shows as “tampered”). They can be finicky, and it sucks because once you put it on there is hardly any removing it and replacing. Or else you will need new sticky backing (which isn’t provided!!) So be sure you know where you want it and if it will work there first (I.e - tape it down and test it out)

I am concerned about the battery part coming out if not installed a particular way and worried when I move would i have to repurchase new ones or does the sticky tape let me replace it? Basically what happens when I want to move?
