These are easy to install and works great at new home.

Works well once setup and sometimes the battery life is sometimes 75% or lower sitting in storage.

We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like you are experiencing issues with the device in regards to setup process. The Ring Alarm Contact Sensor (2nd Gen.) allows you to expand your Ring Alarm system to secure each door and window in your home and get alerts as soon as they open. The Ring Alarm and all Ring Alarm accessories require a subscription for in-app features and digital notifications, including digital arming and disarming and integration with other Ring, Echo, Alexa, and third-party products. If a Ring Alarm Contact Sensor fails during setup, you may have to adjust the position of the magnet and sensor. Move the sensor closer to the magnet or in a more optimal alignment.

Paired with Ring Alarm

This allowed me to have the amount of sensors I wanted throughout my home. They were easy to put but the adhesive that comes with doesn’t work well. I used the scotch double sided tape. Surprisingly the tape worked better than the adhesive did
