You simply scan the code on the contact, then stick each side within. 5 inch of each other. Ring hub picks it up, you name it and it becomes part of the main system.

They are incredibly easy to add to your existing system. The set-up process through the Ring app is easy and intuitive; takes about a minute per sensor. Easy install with command strip adhesives.

Wonder how easy it is to remove if I move. Not to keen on the fact that it's battery operated, but I guess that's to be expected of something that's easy to install and portable.

The 4 sensors that came in the bundle weren't enough for all of our doors and windows, but this 6-pack was the perfect add-on.

Needed a total of 19 in all and couldn’t be happier. Works well with the indoor cameras and the alarm system

We use these on our children's windows, mainly for peace of mind from intrusion. Links effortlessly to my existing Ring alarm system and app. Also has a 'tamper' notification of the kids decide to sneak out!

I love the Ring security system and these are just another easy addition to protect more windows or doors. I even rigged one to be a garage door sensor.
