Purchased these to add to our RING system should it ever happen again. Tested with water on my finger and got an immediate response on the alarm system.

Rather thick, but for the intended purpose of safeguarding basement from water presence, thickness is not a primary concern. Ring should come up with a larger variety of sensors. Have not tested the freeze warning function yet.
