Works great, we brought this for security protect at the door bell.

Looks like you have to disconnect from doorbell each time to recharge the battery.

I love the wireless ring door bell with recording! It keeps a eye on everything, tells me if there is a package, person ect. At my door..i bought one for my aunt because she lives alone, its cool to check the door from your phone if you don't want to open the door, you can talk to them from your phone..
