We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to light setting. The Ring Floodlight Cam Plus is an outdoor security camera designed to provide you with the ability to customize your Floodlight Cam's zone coverage, motion settings and light settings in the Ring app. If the light on your Ring Floodlight Cam plus won't turn off, here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
* Try turning the light off manually within the Ring app. If it comes back on, examine the camera's view for anything that might be triggering motion detection.
* Verify that a Light Schedule isn't enabled in the app and causing the light to activate.
* Check the Device Health section of your Ring app to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
* Reboot your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus from the Ring app by tapping "Reboot This Device" from the Device Health page.

Easy to install and easy to work and you basically need is WiFi to get it going the installation is super easy only 3 cables, Positive and Negative and Ground basic installation.

It warns me of any intruders, which provides me ample time to release my guard dogs to thwart evil doers and unsavery characters. The motion detection and instant on flood light stops someone needing to perform foul play like a deer in the headlights. Highly recommended.

This is the second flood light ring cam I have purchased. They are very easy to install and set up. I’ve never had an issue with connectivity and the clarity is awesome.

If you are experiencing an issue with your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus’s sound quality, we recommend that you check the following: Bring your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus near your router and trigger an event. If the sound improves, you may want to add a wifi extender like the Ring Chime Pro to your setup to improve connectivity. If the sound does not improve, try holding the setup button down for twenty seconds and testing again. Remove the power source from your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus for twenty seconds, reinsert it, then test audio again.
The Ring Floodlight Cam Plus can be installed on a wall or under an eave. It will be important to properly install the mounting bracket and adjust the device depending on where you are installing it. If you’re installing under an eave, the arrow should point toward the wall. If you’re mounting the Ring Floodlight Cam Plus on an eave or overhang, you will also have to rotate the lights away from the camera. Visit our support center for a step-by-step installation guide.

I was looking for a camera that was always on, recording clips of any activity that might be suspicious. The siren is loud enough to scare off people that you don’t want on your property. I love the option where you can set the mode to home/away. It also comes in handy where you can contact the police right away. If you’re looking for a camera that protects your valuables, tells you what’s going on in your neighborhood, and records all the time then this is it! Best camera I’ve ever bought so far. No problems. Works really great with my Alexa.

It has motion detection so illuminates my drive, notifies me so I can see what’s going on and only activates when needed so it doesn’t disturb my neighbors.
