Exceeded my expectations

With Total tech installation service, putting a couple of these floodlights in to replace my original outdoor lights went swimmingly. The video and audio quality exceeded my expectations, especially the night vision function.

Was so easy to install. I liked the the way view of my front porch. This flood has great look at night. I have another ring floodlight in the back porch. I highly recommend. I would buy again to. As in closing i did buy onsale 118.00

The features and technology provided by the Ring Floodlight Cam Plus are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We can definitely assist you with this today, and we are confident we can find the correct settings for your home’s environment.
It sounds like you have some concerns with the motion detection of your device. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. If you do not wish to receive notifications for motion events, simply toggle off the "Motion Alerts" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is picking up too much motion, we recommend lowering the "Motion Sensitivity" under the "Motion Settings" tab. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This also includes changing the "Motion Frequency" to "Regularly" or "Periodically" in the Ring app.
Accuracy in motion detection can also be improved by enabling the "Smart Alerts" feature for people only in your Ring app. To enable "Smart Alerts", please follow these steps:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the device that you want to adjust.
Tap "Motion Settings."
Tap "Smart Alerts."
Tap "Enable Feature."
Tap "Continue."
Select the notification options that you want for "Person" and "Other Motion."
You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
After you've adjusted your settings, tap "Done."

But setting up the motions zones is easy, connecting to wifi is super easy, you can set the light to come on with motion, come on for set periods of time or a combo of all. You can also turn the light completely off if you want. I have 2 of the pro also. You can link them together so that they all start recording if one detects motion. This captures my very lrage bak yard from corner to corner and gives me a great view of the pool. You can customize the sensitivity, add users, set light brightness. I can not say enough good things!!

Not only that I can view what the activity is, it records who and what is said and it covers my 2 primary door entrances to my home!! The bonus, motion sensitive flood lights come on automatically whenever it is dark outside!!! Added security and safety for everyone at my home!! Wished I had gotten one sooner!!

One small feature that really impressed me was the inclusion of a small strap to temporarily hang the light/camera safely while wiring it. The camera picture quality looks great. The lights swivel and are easy to adjust. Since we have a Ring doorbell account, we preferred to use additional Ring surveillance lights/cameras to keep it simple and not clutter smartphone with more apps.

Could you get this cheaper from an off brand, yes. I like the ecosystem and ease of use and the price difference is worth it to me.

The camera captures mostly all motion, including vehicles driving by and animals. The spotlight on the camera also illumiates an area, so it makes it easy to illuminate paths. I also use this camera, and it brings do much more peace of mind. I would highly recommend ring to anyone.
