Simple replacement for an existing yard light (just remember to keep the switch in the on position for it to work all the time). Video is very clear and light brightness is adjustable using the app!

I think they are great BUT I do think that the picture wouldn't be clear enough if you're trying to get an intruders picture or face unless they were pretty close. Considering the price though I would say this is high quality otherwise. My favorite part is 100% the flood light feature. It is pretty good overall at catching movement as small as a mouse. I have mine set up to turn off the light for certain times of day when I have the dogs outside so it doesn't turn on and off over and over again.

Okay for home security purposes

Okay video quality- not great, struggles in sunlight ( previous gen model was better). Subscription is required for viewing previous recordings (2 months) which I am okay with but wish it supported a sd card for local storage to reduce reliance on internet connection for times when there is internet outage from ISP or when Ring has AWS/cloud issues (they have had a few).

Download the ring app and answer a series of questions. The unit itself is built very well and has allot of features. The video is crystal clear and you can do fine adjustments to the features via the app.

It was well packaged and installation and setup were easy. But, like all of the Ring devices i have bought, it is expensive when compared to the competition…do i get what i paid for? Probably. It does irritate me that I have to pay a monthly fee for them to save videos. I may shop around…

It doesn’t disappoint because not only is it bright but the clarity of the camera is amazing.
