The technician at Best Buy did a great job giving us options about the best ring outdoor floodlight cam for our home, even though we already have an extensive selection of ring devices, but this one has been the best selection so far.

The colored night vision was also great. There were a few times where cars pulled up at a distance that Were Not picked up. (2-3 known times) one broad daylight, once at night. (More reasonable) HOWEVER; one day it just quit working. Died. This isn’t something that ever gets touched, isn’t in an area weather can affect it much. There’s a 1 year warranty, this died just a couple weeks past that ended. And this isn’t a turn off, turn back on situation, the button to do so won’t light up at all. Screens completely black. Unsure if I’ll pay to have this fixed or switch to another company.

It sounds like the device is not performing as intended in regards to being unresponsive. We recommend power cycling the device by turning off the breaker that it is connected to for a full minute. Allow the device a few minutes to turn back on after switching the main power back on. If the device is still unresponsive, you may need to press and hold the reset button on the top of the device for 20 seconds to reset it. Walk through the steps in the Ring app to reconnect the device.

Great camera with a solid picture

At first i didn't think this would fit upside down on an eaves but it totally did. There was a hook so you don't have to hold the heavy unity when wiring and attaching it to the mount point. It is a great device and a sturdy piece of hardware.
