Buy Pro, not Plus

We want to ensure your device is working as intended by providing you with solutions to resolve the concern you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the video from your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus Wired is not as clear as you would like. Many times, video quality concerns are due to low wifi speeds or signal strength. We recommend doing a speed test to see if this could be causing your poor video quality.
Turn off your mobile phone’s cellular data and connect to the same wifi network as your Ring device.
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select your device.
Tap Device Health.
Under Tools, tap Test Your Wifi.
Tap Start to run a test that will measure your upload and download speeds.
Both upload and download speeds should be at least 1 Mbps or greater, but 2 Mbps or above is ideal.
Check the numbers on your wifi speed test. If either your upload or download speed is below 1 Mbps, then you might consider replacing your router (especially if it's older than five years). Contact your internet service provider to learn more about getting newer equipment and faster speeds.

The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus was designed to activate based on your specific needs. We can definitely assist you with this today to ensure your Ring device is performing optimally, and the proper settings are chosen within the Ring app.
It sounds like your device is not operating as intended in regards to the lights activating. We recommend that you customize your Floodlight Cam's zone coverage, motion settings and light settings in the Ring app.
To access controls for your Floodlight Cam:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Floodlight Cam that you want to adjust.
Tap the Device Schedule tile.
Tap Light Schedules.
Follow the prompts in the Ring app to customize your light schedules.
We also recommend adjusting your Motion Sensitivity and Motion Zones to suit your needs. Using your Motion Control settings, you can adjust the range and distance at which motion will turn your floodlights on. Your floodlights use passive infrared detectors (PIR) to detect motion in three 90 degree arcs around the device. You can turn these on or off independently from each other.

I would recommend it to anyone who is into watching home. One of the led lights did come on with out warning but have not figured out how to turn it off as of yet.

The other half the time it's off line even though there is good wifi where it is located. The video is pretty grainy a lot of the time when it does work. It has a lot of problems for the money you pay for it.

Posted .Hi Poorvideo. Having the ability to rely on your Floodlight Cam to see who is at your home is key to your sense of security. If your Floodlight Cam is not able to load Live View or is disconnecting from wifi often, the wifi signal to your Floodlight Cam may not be stable. Try reviewing the information and troubleshooting steps in our Help Center article here: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Understanding-RSSI-Values-and-Wifi-Signal-Strength. If the suggestions there aren't helpful, you can search the Ring Community at https://community.ring.com/. The Floodlight Cam Wired Plus has Customizable Motion Zones, Live View and Color Night Vision that are controlled from the Ring app. In addition, the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus has a 105db siren. Rest assured, we are here to provide you with information regarding the light position of your device.
Your Floodlight Cam Wired Plus security camera must be installed on a 4“ round UL listed weatherproof electrical box. The Floodlight Cam Wired Plus can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. You will want to rotate both of the lights outward, if you are mounting the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus on an eave or overhang during the physical installation.
