It sounds like you are concerned with the need for the Ring Home Plan subscription. The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.
Ring Community was launched to help deliver the most current news and educational information to our neighbors. Overall a great addition to a security system. Features such as siren and ability to communicate is superb. With this floodlight it’s like being at home to monitor your home

Camera/picture quality is very good and the audio in and out is adequate.

We have a rear entry garage and this lights up and records the whole area. Love it!

This camera and floodlight was installed over the garage. It captures all the driveway and a lot of the yard. The app is easy to use. The camera picture is excellent.

Worth a buy and must have for security. Lights are very bright and enough to cover my backyard.
