I told him he was a bad influence because I ended up purchasing 5. 2 for my home, 2 for my brother and one for my boyfriend. They are so worth the money to keep your property safe.

The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus was designed to activate based on your specific needs. We can definitely provide you with more information on the motion detection issue that you mentioned in your review of the device.
The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is designed with customizable light and motion settings to be adjust according to your needs. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is missing some motions, please set the motion frequency to "Frequently."
You can also adjust the motion zones for the lights by clicking the "Device settings" then "Light Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app.

The floodlights are so powerful they light up the night like it was day. The wide angle lens has a broad range of sight. Being able to set perimeters for the motion sensors help tremendously as the area I need to watch is a smaller part of what the camera sees.

I bought it to cover and secure the side and back of my house but the original installation was cancelled for some reason and I was not available for the reschedule. I’m sure I would have been very happy with this light.

The effectiveness of the camera and sensors is spot on. The flood lights work exactly the way they are supposed to. And the mobile alerts keep me up to date on what's happening around my home.

I only buy ring products for my house

The floodlight is great because you control when the light is on or off and get to monitor outside your house. There is also a “siren” button to scare away anyone not supposed to be there and letting them know you’re watching!

Easily app operated and consistent connection. Many features. Dont need a plan, but have a cheap option if want to maintain some history of videos.
