I was at a hardware store when it detected motion it was a cat. I knew the unit was working. When security is a must protect me and my property is a must, it works.

Finally found the perfect surveillance camera! Lights are super bright and the color night vision is excellent! Makes me feel safe when sleeping in my home and away from home!! If you are experiencing an issue with your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus’s sound quality, we recommend that you check the following: Bring your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus near your router and trigger an event. If the sound improves, you may want to add a wifi extender like the Ring Chime Pro to your setup to improve connectivity. If the sound does not improve, try holding the setup button down for twenty seconds and testing again. Remove the power source from your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus for twenty seconds, reinsert it, then test audio again.
The Ring Floodlight Cam Plus can be installed on a wall or under an eave. It will be important to properly install the mounting bracket and adjust the device depending on where you are installing it. If you’re installing under an eave, the arrow should point toward the wall. If you’re mounting the Ring Floodlight Cam Plus on an eave or overhang, you will also have to rotate the lights away from the camera. Visit our support center for a step-by-step installation guide.

Nice but can be frustrating
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does the job. Clean video. Clear sound. But at times the lights get stuck on and you have to reset the unit. If you need to reset you need access to it to press a button and reconnect fully.

We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to light setting. The Ring Floodlight Cam Plus is an outdoor security camera designed to provide you with the ability to customize your Floodlight Cam's zone coverage, motion settings and light settings in the Ring app. If the light on your Ring Floodlight Cam plus won't turn off, here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
* Try turning the light off manually within the Ring app. If it comes back on, examine the camera's view for anything that might be triggering motion detection.
* Verify that a Light Schedule isn't enabled in the app and causing the light to activate.
* Check the Device Health section of your Ring app to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
* Reboot your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus from the Ring app by tapping "Reboot This Device" from the Device Health page.

Inexpensive way to have great light and added security through the quality picture. Sound could be a bit better but we rarely use it. Easy to install, my husband was able to do it without a problem. Anyone who is replacing a floodlight should consider replacing it with this product. Yes, it is far more expensive than a stand flood light but so worth it. I can watch the feed on my computer/phone/iPads.

I like the alarm, voice and lights on demand feature. Easy to install, works well w the electronic doorknob too. It’s not annoying like the ring bc it gives you just the right amount of phone alerts, the app is very clear and easy to use. I also have a ring a camera and I much prefer eufy, it’s just more user friendly.
