The floodlight is great because you control when the light is on or off and get to monitor outside your house. There is also a “siren” button to scare away anyone not supposed to be there and letting them know you’re watching!

I purchased this the morning that my car was broken into and best buy delivered within 2 hours. The clarity is top-notch and I love all the features that are available. Great product

We have other outside ring cameras and we put this one overlooking the driveway. we had a small problem setiing it up because it was too far from the router. Ring chime took care of that. No issues works as expected,

I would be happy to address your concern regarding the issue that you are experiencing with the delay in motion detection of your Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This includes increasing the "Motion Sensitivity" and setting "Motion Frequency" to "Frequently" in the Ring app. To optimize your motion zones and ensure that the device will detect accurately, please follow these steps:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap Devices.
Tap the relevant device.
Tap Motion Settings.
At the top, tap Edit Zones or scroll down to tap Camera Motion Zones.
Accuracy in motion detection can also be improved by enabling Smart Alerts for people only in your Ring app.
To enable Smart Alerts:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap Devices.
Tap the device that you want to adjust.
Tap Motion Settings.
Tap Smart Alerts.
Tap Enable Feature.
Tap Continue.
Select the notification options that you want for Person and Other Motion.
You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
After you've adjusted your settings tap Done.

Sometimes the flood lighting can be overly sensitive so you'll just have to toggle settings and set your preferences with some trial & error to best meet your surveillance needs.
