I like the fact that you can control the flood light from your phone, and keep it steady, turn it off and on as you desire. The light also comes on when there is a motion.

Picks up every movement, which is what I wanted, including the neighborhood cat that loves coming across the driveway. Very happy with the doorbell and floodlight. In fact, going to add another to the backyard.

Little experience. 2nd purchase after I bought 2 cams and doorbell setup and installed. About an hour for each, taking my time. Each cam has slot for two batteries. Mine run fine on one.

It features great resolution, a wide view and zoom capabilities,Easy to set up, and cloud storage at $30 a year is very reasonable. It serves our needs to a T and I would definitely recommend this purchase.

They work well together. Important to note that if you want to record motion, you pay the ring an annual fee.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to light setting. The Ring Floodlight Cam Plus is an outdoor security camera designed to provide you with the ability to customize your Floodlight Cam's zone coverage, motion settings and light settings in the Ring app. If the light on your Ring Floodlight Cam plus won't turn off, here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
* Try turning the light off manually within the Ring app. If it comes back on, examine the camera's view for anything that might be triggering motion detection.
* Verify that a Light Schedule isn't enabled in the app and causing the light to activate.
* Check the Device Health section of your Ring app to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
* Reboot your Ring Floodlight Cam Plus from the Ring app by tapping "Reboot This Device" from the Device Health page.

Flooding My Life With Security

Or just when it notifies me that leaf fell off the tree. -1 star they could really improve the motion settings to detect people. It says it does that but I get notifications in the middle of the night for no people or anything. I think bugs.

If you have the location pre-wired and a wireless network, it's very easy to install and operate. Good lighting, camera performance, and software environment. Only detraction is the need for a circular junction box (purchased separately).
