After calling Ring a few times it was determined we needed a new one. The Ring person failed to answer my question regarding electric connections and all around didn't really understand the issues. I'm hoping this new one works considering I spent extra for someone to deal with the electric connections for a 2nd time. When working it does when it's supposed to, however, it won't detect motion and turn on the light on a schedule, only on or off.

Posted .Hi mc4319. I definitely understand the importance of ensuring that your Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is working as expected so you can have that peace of mind. The Floodlight Cam must be hardwired into a junction box that supplies 100V-240V. You can find more information here https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061193351-Floodlight-Cam-Wired-Plus-Security-Camera-Information. As for the motion detection, there currently is not an option in the Ring app to set up motion detection on a schedule. Whenever your Floodlight Cam detects motion, the lights will come on as long as it is dark enough.
