We recommend following these steps to ensure that you have the "Color Night Vision" feature enabled in the Ring app:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the Menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the device you want to adjust.
Tap Device Settings.
Tap Video Settings.
Toggle Color Night Vision on or off.
Fixing night vision and other video issues
Although rare, there have been instances where a Ring device can experience black, pink, and other distorted video quality like night vision video captured during daytime hours. Here are a few things to try.
Check your Ring device's signal strength.
If your Ring device is far from your wifi router, it may be experiencing connection or video issues.
Open the Ring app.
Tap the Menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Ring device you would like to test.
Tap on the Device Health tile.
Scroll to Signal Strength under the Network section.
The green, amber, and red colors are indicators of your device connection. Green is good, red is poor. Learn more about fixing connection issues.
Reboot your Ring Doorbell or Camera in the Ring app.
In order to reboot your Ring device, it must be connected to wifi.
Open the Ring app.
Tap the Menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Doorbell or Camera you wish to reboot.
Tap on the Device Health tile.
Scroll down to Reboot This Device.
Give your device a few moments to start back up.

Ring easy to use

It does not light up when someone walks by. The other one works perfectly. I haven't reached out to the warranty dept yet. I am not sure what the fix is. The camera works in day or night and at night the picture is very clear.

Having the lights function as intended is an extremely important feature of the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus. We are here today to offer you information regarding the light sensitivity and motion detection concern that you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like your device is not operating as intended in regards to the lights activating. We recommend that you customize your Floodlight Cam's zone coverage, motion settings and light settings in the Ring app.
To access controls for your Floodlight Cam:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Floodlight Cam that you want to adjust.
Tap the Device Schedule tile.
Tap Light Schedules.
Follow the prompts in the Ring app to customize your light schedules.
We also recommend adjusting your Motion Sensitivity and Motion Zones to suit your needs. Using your Motion Control settings, you can adjust the range and distance at which motion will turn your floodlights on. Your floodlights use passive infrared detectors (PIR) to detect motion in three 90 degree arcs around the device. You can turn these on or off independently from each other.
