    Not based on product. Purchased installation and the wait time was two (2) weeks away. Installer was a no call no show. Reschedule date is now another two (2) weeks away. Sad

    This is the worse piece of s^^# ever. I would not purchase this device by Ring. Does not work. More aggravation than anything else. One star is one star too much.

      DIY installation of your Ring Floodlight Camera is intended to be a relatively easy process. However, as the Floodlight Camera requires a junction box as well as wiring up live wires, it's recommended you hire a licensed electrician to install the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus. The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus should be connected to a 100 VAC~240 VAC 50/60 Hz power source.       It sounds like you were unable to install the Ring Floodlight Cam Plus Wired. Your Floodlight Cam Wired Plus security cam must be installed on a 4“ round UL-listed weatherproof electrical box. If you do not already have a junction box, one can be installed; however, Ring highly recommends that you engage a qualified electrician for this.

      Ring offers a variety of cameras to meet different needs. If this device wasn't the right fit, we invite you to visit our support center to compare the different devices and their features to find the right one for your home.

      Thank you for reaching out regarding your set-up concern. We understand how important it is to have your Ring Video Doorbell installed and working to secure your home. You should be able to complete the installation of your Ring doorbell within a matter of moments, and we are here to help.

      While not comprehensive, the three most common causes of failure to complete the setup (aside from entering an incorrect wifi password) are your Ring device being too far from your wifi router, having a problem with your internet connection, or some type of issue related to your wifi modem or router.

      If you haven't already, please bring your doorbell indoors, and try the set-up in the same room as the router. This will ensure that distance and interference aren't causing the issue. If the attempt fails, and you are certain you have the correct wifi password, please reboot your router. After the reboot, your set-up should complete as expected.

    Bought this for my mother-in-laws backyard. It works better than expected. Took about 15minutes to install and set up. Took another 15mintues to teach her how to use the app. The image and sound quality are outstanding!! She loves the ability to have live conversations through the camera. I recommend this and other Ring products to everyone looking for protection and surveillance

    The Ring Camera and flood light is perfect for what I needed. The camera is good quality. I put it 15 ft above ground and I can see my alley clearly. I did need to use a WiFi extender for the WiFi to work. I had one so it was not a big deal.

    Not working or not installed correctly. Your installer did the work. Called him (Paul) to advised floodlight cam not working, have not heard from him.
