The app is easy to use and includes many features. The viewing quality is excellent in day time and night. 30 days of free service then sign up for an affordable yearly price if you want to save video. Highly recommend. We plan to purchase another flood light for backyard.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is an outdoor floodlight security camera with 1080p HD video. The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus has ultra-bright, motion-activated LED floodlights, customizable motion zones, "Live View," "Color Night Vision," a 105db siren and two-way talk. Ring doorbells and outdoor security cameras are water-resistant and designed to withstand normal rainfall and snow. Ring products are not waterproof and should not be submerged in water or sprayed with high pressure water. If you can, it is recommended to keep your Ring device under a protective overhang such as a hanging roof. The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is weather resistant so it can be installed outdoors. If water is getting into the lights, it may be an issue with the installation.
