The brightness seems little low than I thought, but definitely good enough to look at things when needed. The sensor activates the light for any movement in the range. You also get a 30 day free trial for professional monitoring, which is also a perk.

I read a review about the uplink lag time between camera and phone and was told from a sales associate that that reviewer probably didn't have a great wifi connection. Well I have a great wifi connection - 3 eeros w/ 1 Gbps speed - and the response time is considerably lacking. In addition, you must purchase a plan after 30 days in order to view any videos unlike other cameras that simply erase the videos once you've used up a determined amount of cloud storage. Yikes! Sometimes instead of working poorly it simply doesn't work at all!
