A: i answered this question once and my answer dissapeared i tried everyway imaginable to mount this under an eave IT WILL NOT WORK when its under the eave the camera will not adjust it limits the movement the camera points just about straight down and has no side to side movement i am disgusted with ring over this i didnt try to install it right away and when i did i couldnt return it now i have a nearly 300.00 camera sitting in a box

Also, through the free Ring App, you can create a custom schedule for your floodlights. Q: Does it work during the day?
A: Hi Dance, The floodlight Cam will notify you of movement during the day and still send you notifications, however the lights only come on at night for a motion alert. Q: Is it possible to adjust it where it won't alert when an animal walks by but will if human does?
A: You can adjust the sensitivity and also the area in the picture that will trigger on motion.
A: I got the floodlight motion light cam. I read reviews and decided I didn't want a battery operated one do to having to replace the battery every 6 months at a cost of $30. I bought the wired one. I took down my back porch light and wired the cam light. It works wonderful it was the best purchase ever. I feel secure at home and when away. A friend visited that didn't know I had it and when she approached the porch I said hi Korin, she was startled, she thought it was great. Someone would have to carry tools and ladder, but they would be spotted and scared off before they could remove it. I has a siren plus you can tell them don't even think about it or what ever the police are on their way. I didn't broadcast I had it, I don't always say something when someone comes, I watch my packages being delivered. I love it I want to get another for the other porch. You can set it to avoid all little things from setting it off, I have it set for people. I wish you luck this will set your mind free of theft..
