The chime needs to be reset often (now doesn't work at all after 3 years). When the doorbell rings, it takes so long to connect via the app so you can talk to the person at the door, that they just give up and walk away.

I called Ring Tech support Level 1. I spent an hour on the phone with him before he told me he couldn't fix the problem and I would have to schedule an appointment with a Level 2 tech but I would have to wait for an e-mail from Ring telling me when appointments were available. I never heard from them. I called back and spent 3 more hours with a Level 2 tech. We thought the problem with the doorbell was resolved so we tried to set-up the cameras. One of them didn't work. They sent me a new one. The first time I tried to connect to the doorbell when I was away from home it told me it couldn't connect . I called Level 2 support again. We spent another hour trying to get it to work and gave up. The next morning it was working. Today I tried to answer the doorbell and again it told me it couldn't connect even though I was at my house. Then the front camera told me the battery was too low and it could not connect even though it had only been installed for 2 weeks and the battery is supposed to last 6 months before it needs to be charged. I will be returning the package to Ring.
