    Great in theory, not so much in reality

    I was so excited to get this (and an extra stick up cam) and get it installed. Went through the set-up process which was pretty simple with the free app. Cameras worked inside no issues. Placed them outside in the areas I wanted them and they worked fine - the first night. The next day, I received a motion alert for the front camera and when I watched the video, it was just a black screen. I tried to access the live view for the 3 stick up cans though out the day and was only able to connect to one camera (the one that was furthest away from the router). Called tech support who informed me that my speed was not sufficient. I had purchased a new router and cell phone speed tests next to the cameras outside all resulted in download speeds of 12 Mbps + and upload speeds of 4 Mbps+. The online support forum suggest speeds of at least 1mbps. The tech support told me of a different speed measure that my cameras were not receiving. Unfortunately, I had to uninstall and return all the cameras and doorbell. For the money, Ring should really include better receivers in their products. For what the system costs (+monthly cloud fee) I will have a professional system installed.

    The salesman failed to tell me that I would have to subscribe to Ring's Cloud service. There was no info about it until after 30 days when I could no longer see events. Unfortunately, I also could no longer return the item. I'm so mad...I have to pay Ring for as long as I use their products. I wish I would have purchased another brand.

    Repackaged return sold as new

    I opened the box and cut the tabs on the box cover so everything looked normal. When I opened the box, the second security tabs had clearly been previously cut. The doorbell is visibly different than the cameras with scuff marks. If you are selling something as new that was returned, it had better have been returned to new status. I am so angry I don't even want to go to the store. I am done with Bestbuy.

    after about a month my camera have stopped picking up heat signatures. They also have very low night time visibility
