I picks up details It was very easy to hook up and I'm not usually good at doing that I gave one to a friend who also loves it.

If you like Amazon, get ring, if you like Google, get nest. If you like Apple, learn how to save your money because they're all made in China and use some flavor of OS based on open source Unix. Bla Bla Bla... Buy it from whoever is cheaper. Most of the time Amazon is because ring is an Amazon company and they like giving deals randomly. Or if you want to save brick and mortar companies from going under in this digital age of laziness; and mega warehouses moving into a neighborhood near you, drive, bike or walk to your local best buy. Perk is instant gratification.

If your thinking about buying it i suggest you do. Only negative is the cord if thats a peoblem for you but u like nit having to charge it.

Bought a cheaper pet camera that would not connect to my network and it messed up my network! I returned it to Best But with no hassles at all and got this Ring…should have just gone with this one to begin with as I already have Rings. They connected in seconds AND I was able to make it so they don’t record video and don’t get set off by motion! Great camera for pet owners! I am able to see the whole area so no need for movement that other cameras offer; however, I got an email from Best Buy about a mount you can put it in that allows you to rotate the camera with the App if this is a feature you want!

Clarity and sounds works great even at night. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because this camera only works with 2G WiFi. Other than that, everything is perfect for us. Mounting on the wall was easy and installation instructions are easy to follow. Thank you
