Even with one battery, the light stays long and is really bright! Worth spending 80$ over some poor quality 30-40$ ones!

Instead, I had to spend an additional 50 bucks for Ring bridge in order for me to access The lights on my Ring app. That was pretty disappointing. And the battery dies EXTREMELY FAST!

Having longevity in a battery-powered security device, is crucial when it comes to monitoring your home, especially if you are away for long periods of time. We are here to provide you with some education to resolve the battery life issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as intended. The Ring Smart Lighting Solar Floodlight is an ultra-bright motion-sensing smart dual-head floodlight that illuminates large areas with powerful adjustable lights. While batteries in Ring Smart Lights will last for months with normal use, there are several factors that may impact battery life, such as the local weather and the number of activities captured. Try adjusting the following settings to get the longest battery life from your device:
Set Light Sensors to 0 or 1 so that the lights only turn on if it's very dark.
Reduce the brightness to the lowest setting.
Set Group Auto Shutoff time to 30 seconds.
For Solar devices, we suggest you only use the included Ring-branded rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

The sensor is a bit slower than I like. In addition, you need a bridge to tap into more functionality, which in my opinion is wrong on all levels.

The Ring Bridge is the central hub that integrates Ring Smart Lights, Motion Sensors, and Transformers into your Ring system. The Ring Bridge connects to the Ring app using your home wifi network and connects to other Ring Smart Lighting products using a proprietary long-range communication protocol. Without the Ring Bridge, your Ring Smart Lighting Floodlight functions only as a standard motion-sensing light. Very Bright Floodlight!

Love the alerts I get on my Ring app! I have a majority of all the products Ring has put out. Excellent in my opinion. Works great and love the solar power! Never have to recharge the battery pack ever!
