    Best have in Three Lakes Wisconsin notifications can controlled to one’s taste. System is fabulous completely makes one feel safe at home or away . Visual audio is detailed leaving no doubt safety is present continuously.

    RING spotlight camera

    For a smaller camera it puts off more light than we expected at night when the sensor is triggered.

    Just bought a new camera

    This camera keeps sending me codes and stopping I have talked to ring approximately a week ago or more they said it takes 7 days to get a new camera so far I have still not received my new camera they have all my information and my credit cards so I do believe this will be my last ring product after all I've only had about 10 or more and I really like them but I do have a new system that I like even better now that I don't have no problems with and whenever you do you call and they send you out a new product and you send the other one back ring is dragging their feet cannot go along waiting and waiting I live in a high Prime neighborhood where cops come to my door all the time want to see my footage so no more ring after this sorry to say one star

The features and technology provided by the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We would love the opportunity to work with you and resolve the concerns mentioned in your review.

      It sounds like your device continuously falls offline. We recommend that if your networking equipment hasn’t been power cycled in a while, try unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Once this has been done, to determine whether or not the problem is caused by poor upload speed, run a speed test to determine if your network can support Ring devices. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus requires at least 1 Mbps upload and download speeds, though 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance. Visit our support center if additional troubleshooting steps are needed.

    Vendor canceled Installation

    I don't know how the camera works. I was supposed to have it installed by the grease guard which never canceled it without informing me and I waited all day for them to come. I had to make a call. I had to make a call to customer services and my install was cancel.

    Big Disappointment, the Ring Cameras

    I have Ring Spotlight Cameras all around my house and I have the Ring Door Bell. The Spotlight Cameras are a Big Disappointment, I have had these cameras for over a year now, and I have called customer service several times and gone through doing Re-Sets and Re-Boots and changing Settings, The bottom line in my opinion, is the cameras work below average and always miss a lot of events. They do not work as promised by Ring. I will look for another camera to do my surveillance of my house.

The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus was designed to capture motions based on your specifications to help keep your home secure. We are here to provide you with some information to resolve the issue you mentioned in your review.

      It sounds like your device was not working as expected. We appreciate your willingness to work with our support team toward finding a resolution for your concerns. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the Motion Settings tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the Motion Frequency setting. If you find that your camera is missing some motions, please set the motion frequency to 'Frequently'. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This includes increasing the "Motion Sensitivity" and setting "Motion Frequency" to "Frequently" in the Ring app.

      Accuracy in motion detection can also be improved by enabling smart alerts for people only in your Ring app. To enable smart alerts, please follow these steps:
      Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
      Tap Devices.
      Tap the device that you want to adjust.
      Tap Motion Settings.
      Tap Smart Alerts.
      Tap Enable Feature.
      Tap Continue.
      Select the notification options that you want for Person and Other Motion.
      You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
      After you've adjusted your settings, tap Done.
