The lights come on and it sends an alert to my phone . If I wish to I can set off the siren from my phone. It also connects with my other Ring devices so that if one is set off they all start recording.

Unhappy that it only has a place for one battery. The older model I purchased several months ago has two batteries so if I cannot get to the battery for a few weeks, the other battery continues. It is great, this one, I have no choice but to change it out.

The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus was designed with the ability to insert two Ring Quick Release Battery Packs for additional power and longevity with battery life. The package contains one battery, but additional Ring Quick Release Battery Packs are available for purchase separately.

Works as advertised. Need to learn how to turn down all of the "push notifications," but the cameras, battery life, and app is pretty legit.

I ordered it online and the pick up process was very simple and quick. Great video quality as well. Really like how there is a light that comes on at night when there is motion.

I can make it so they link with my other cameras when they are triggered. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because of the yearly fee. Therefore I recommend the eufy cameras. They’re better quality already have built in solar panels and n expandable hard drive with no xtra fee.

But besides that point it is nice for the fact you can use two batteries and forget about it for a while, the motion sensor works real well, i haven't tried the siren yet but thats all. The lights are semi bright and can illuminate my back deck.
