Annual subscription required. would definitely recommend hard wired units. Success will be based on where the units are located. False hits will happen, sometime due to weather. Units have been installed for six months. Neighbor notifications from other users of RING can be somewhat helpful, but sometimes also annoying.

Love this Ring Spotlight Cam. Covers a large area, video is super clear and the motion light is very bright. Offers a lot of customizations, definitely a great security camera

Great addition to our home. My husband was able to install it. He watched a video on YouTube for instructions. But I would recommend you let Best Buy install if you aren’t handy.

We purchased 2 of these Ring cameras and they work better than expected. The Ring app makes it easy to view live as well as recordings.

Already paid for itself when we caught a prowler last week. State police were able to track down the individual with information captured on the camera. Worth the investment.

Great product to use especially if you're already have multiple Ring products and paying the cloud subscription. The cord is long enough to mount almost anywhere. Easy to set up.

I actually purchased both types of cameras. I purchased the wired one for area I can bring the plug inside for power. I realize they say to just plug in to an outside outlet, well that's great if you have an outside plug where you need to put the camera.

This camera is amazing. Security is priceless, everyone should have one or more of these. My only regret is not buying one sooner! This camera already stopped a thief on the side of my home. Highly recommend. A++

Great video picture. Easy set up. Very satisfied overall except for power outage effects system. When away I had a power interruption and the system would not reboot. I had to wait until I got home to reboot. Not sure if this is common or not. Time will tell.

Excellent choice. Running the cord to an outlet can be a bit complicated, but it’s well worth the trouble to avoid needing to charge batteries.

This makes 5 ring cameras i have outside. They are perfect for keeping an eye on my house when im away. Its like they say... "With Ring you're always home".

Plug in much better than the Arlo battery. App is easier to use than others and is responsive. Camera quality is very good.

The spotlight cam is great. Excellent video quality. The more ring devices you have the more the yearly service plan makes sense to have unlimited video recording.

Great picture quality and I like the notification when someone is at the door. I also like that you can connect with other Ring users to alert people when something happens in their neighborhood.

I love this camera so does my dad. I wish I could hide the cord a bit more but it’s amazing I love to prank my dad with it.

This camera does exactly what I needed. Motion sensor, video and audio quality including night time capture is beyond my expectations.

This was easy to install and provides a great piece of mind to my wife and I that we will know what goes on when we’re not around. I will caution you that you may need to add a WiFi extender to your home network to ensure this camera works to its potential.

The Wired Spot Light Cam only took 5 minutes to put up and get working. Really like being able to see what is happening on that side of my house at any time.
