Most of the times, it freezes when trying to open the video immediately after the app notifies me so it’s kinda pointless. I just know someone is at the door but can’t see who until a couple mins later. Did not know about the subscription requirement either but at least it’s not ridiculously expensive. The light is really bright so that’s great.

Great quality and the picture is superb. Lacks sometimes but it was a good buy.

I just installed this set (replaced by the battery version) - this has a better motion sensitivity range and overall I prefer this over the battery/solar version, which I replaced by the wire set.

Tired of buying batteries for arlo cameras switching over to ring cameras that are hard wired.Also Rjng customer service hands down are 200% better than Arlo service.Had problem when I bought camera Ring sent me a replacement in 5 day what great service.

Easy to install. But if you’d dont have good lights around it, the night vision doesn’t really work

I really like the ring security system. I added this camera onto my basic setup, and I love it. I can look outside my house at any time from the app and see who’s pulling up or walking up. It’s a little tricky to install, but overall very good.

I have several Ring items inside and outside of my home. The cameras allow me to keep an eye on my property as well as my neighbors. I would highly recommend Ring products.

This is my second ring camera. I also have the floodlight cam. These are good if you have the appropriate WiFi strength. I upgraded my WiFi from 26mps to 100 MPs and bought a mesh system to get them to work properly if you are going to have two cameras.

It's an average, at best, camera. The short comings are: 1. HORRIBLE wifi reception. I have a mesh system setup with three Asus RC-AC3100 routers are three points. One at each end of the house and the third in the center. I have a full blast signal everywhere on every device, even outside in the yard. Next to the camera I'm getting 300 down/175 up. The camera claims an RSSI of -58. When I put one of the routers 8' from the camera, my RSSI was only -53. There's no way. 2. Video lag is terrible. Playback stutters at all times. 3. Ring customer service sucks. They blame " it's your wifi" on everything. BUT! Yes, but...my ring doorbell cameras work perfectly. 4. Installation was a breeze however I had to buy a different mount from amazon (a white metal one) so that I could properly aim the camera as the included mount did not allow much of an angle. Other than these shortcomings it's an "OK" camera. I probably should have purchased the Nest IQ for a bit more. Disappointing.

Very good camera, any time there is any motion up front it turns on, flashes the light and starts recording. You also don’t have to worry about charging the battery or replacing it which is great!

Good snapshot, clear video in all different light condition.

I have used several security cam and so far the RING cam (I have the floodlight too) is the best. If use outdoors, you have to make sure you have a wifi extender close to where you install the cam to get the best connection.

Great camera with great features. Constantly upgrading. Almost two years in had a failure and exchange was failure painless... even with covid. They stood by there product as I had extended coverage with monitoring service.
