    This cam mounting sucks and there is no way to hide the wiring But cam lighting is great besides that

    Great camera but hard to install

    We installed 4 of these cameras around our house. The camera has great photo quality but wiring for power is hard to install as you have to deploy new power outlets to install these cameras.

    I regret getting these cameras I wished I would have gotton this no name brand from amazon the quality is much better the eye turns this ring camera you have to put it exactly where you think the person will walk into and the picture is not all that great eighter you have to replace the battery even with solar frequently I live in LA high sun

    Not what I wanted

    While the plug in Ring Spotlight Cam wired may be suitable for beginners it is NOT compatible with established Ring Cameras already installed at home. Inadvisable to hardwire since it voids Ring warranty. The Spotlight cam needed unfortunately was NOT carried by Best Buy. Returned both Ring cameras 30 days after purchase. Would have preferred to apply towards required devices. Did NOT get refund due to unrealized 15 day return policy. A Giftcard was issued because Store Credit card was unavailable in store at return

    Bought this instead of the doorbell because it had a light for night viewing. The light could be much brighter. View looks much the same with light or no light. Daytime is excellent.

    Camera doesn’t work properly but it’s past my return date. I purchased it on 05/07, installed it on 5/11 and noticed problems on 05/21.

    Poor taste to have to pay for iCloud storage for history of videos :( 3 to 10 a month that’s insane !! Camera reacts slow sometimes ;(

    For a day time camera it is great. The night vision is very poor. We have our porch and garage lights on and still poor quality.

    I tried everything i could think of to make this thing work. It always had poor wifi signal and it constantly go offline. It was only 15ft away from my wifi router and it would still go offline. Bought and expensive wifi extender and it would still go offline. Placed the wifi exterder half way like they suggest and still poor signal and still go offline. I have the ring doorbell and no problem at all. This ring spotlight cameras are worthless. Ring needs to fix that problem. Don’t buy it. Save yourself a headache. Spent almost 1 hr with ring customer service with no solution. I am returning it asap.

    if your wifi is slow your feedback will be BAD and you'll have trouble looking at live images.

    I purchased 4 ring spotlight battery cams and one wired spotlight cam. Bjg mistake. I should have done my homework. I installed everything and thought I would have loved the system. The cameras felt a little cheap but that wasn't an issue for me. The problems were horrible audio quality, very subpar resolution for what they call 1080p video, numerous connectivity issues, and lights that you had absolutely zero way of turning off or snoozing. I returned these cameras and decided to spend the extra money to buy nest cameras. Also run on the exact same wifi at the exact same locations with zero problems. The video quality is fantastic and the audio is clean and clear. Do your homework people. I'll leave it at that.

    Sporadic. I have it set for low sensitivity and a small area and they constantly pick up rain and moths. Power cord is bulky and can’t be removed and reattached. Very disappointed. Video quality is poor. It can’t read the plate on my car in the daylight. Low light output.
