Installation was relatively easy. If you are not a technophobe there may be some problems learning how to operate the system.

Not really much to add on this piece. It gives a fish eye view, not great, but not bad either. Works as we needed it to.

I bought this camera because we were going on vacation to Florida and wanted something for the inside of my house. This camera has a very clear picture and sits nicely in my living room overseeing my front door. Thinking of buying another one for my back yard patio door. I give it two thumbs up!!!!

Love it, just wish I could access it at any time instead of just being motion activated

This camera has helped alleviate some of my anxiety. I have always lived on a 2nd floor or higher apartment. Being in a house with multiple entrances I needed a way to monitor who is coming and going, both when I am home and away. This camera does all of that and makes me feel more secure.

I've tried several Security devices, several different brands. This is by far The best Security camera out there. The Ring doorbell and chimes are equally awesome. The app is another great feature of the Ring system. They are a bit more expensive than the other brands but they are are worth it.

Bought this camera for security outside. It works great and was simple to install.

I have the ring doorbell (two actually at both my homes). It is phenominal. This, not so much. No way to hard wire is a HUGE negative. I don't care about the solar power, especially because it was going to be in a completely shaded area. For less than $100 more, you can get a 4 camera, professional dvr system. Go for that. Plus, you don't have to pay for recording after a year.

Helps with monitoring who comes. Saves video to cloud in case u need to use it later. No issues

Only wish the view had a wider range to adjust. I can zone on on the entry door but not the back garage door.

Works well, battery doesn't last 6mths, but it's easy to bring in to charge.

This was easy to set up and use. It doesn't have as wide of a view as the doorbell, but it shows very well.

I have two Ring doorbells & now the camera added to our patio after a recent theft of furniture cushions and carriers. We face a busy beach street. The Ring is easy to connect and on line video's and product support are very simple and easy. Even my UPS driver asked for a demo!

Great battery life and really easy to set up. Wish you could set the length of recording.

Over all this is a great way to build an outside security system without running wires and a lot of complicated installation, etc. Hopefuly the software will improve on its programmability. The cameras are not cheap but it's nice that you only buy the ones that you need instead of a prepackaged system that might have more or less than you want. Look forward to seeing their updates and improvements that they make on this as they go but so far very happy.

I'm not happy with the product. I first bought the door bell ring and when storms comes you have to be at your home to reset . Can't do that whenyou dintblivevthetr. Then purchase the ring because it worked off of solar and that went dead . It was supposed to be charged thru solar and battery back up also dead. Wouldn't reco anything by ring. Very very disappointed.

This is by far the best camera; it is wireless and you get live feed and can talk to people outside your home

The guts can't be much different than Ring Doorbell 2 but still serious issues with motion detection and keeping a solid wireless connection. Why no 5.0 Ghz after all this time. I bought the Chime Pro extender and it was no help. ADT Wireless Pulse cameras are around the exterior twice the distance from the router as the Ring Camera and there are no problems.
