The green-conscious rechargeable battery renders 6-12 months of battery life between recharges, while infrared LEDs let you operate this camera during the day or night. The secure quick-release mount adds to the installation ease of the Ring Stick Up Cam.
A: It definitely lasts a long time. The battery lasts for at least a couple months before needing to recharge. It's a lithium ion battery and the cam comes with a USB charging cable. Takes a few hours to charge from 0-100%. If you choose to, you can install the cam in an easy snap-out base that makes it very easy to get the cam down and back in during chargings. We've had great results with ours - I highly recommend.
Q: What is the range of the WIFI on this camera ?
A: The WiFi range really depends more on your wireless router than the Ring device. My furthest device is about 60 feet from the router and works fine.

Q: Can the Ring-Stick Up Cam be used without the Ring-Video Doorbell?
A: Yes it can be used separately. Each device is added independently of each other and it's viewed individually. You can even do live views with the camera to check in whenever you want, not just when there is motion. Great product! I have zero complaints. And customer service is top notch and prompt. I have several of their products
A: You do have to pay $30/camera/yr, however, you can optionally choose to pay $100/yr for an unlimited number of cameras, depending on what makes better financial sense to you. Hope it helps.
