Holds a charge for a long time. Nice to be able to view live shots any time.

It's a nice product, but you need to pay monthly to keep recorded video. No live feed until motion is detected, but you can communicate through the the mic and speaker. There are many wifi cameras, but you have to figure out what features are important to you. Unfortunately, paying monthly isn't what I wanted to do.

So far so good... great security camera without the monthly contract. Video stores on icloud and can easily be retrieved. Also, they are supposed to start the Live View feature, like they have on the door bell, in the next few months.

The Ring camera is a great surveillance tool that doesn't require too much knowledge to set up and operate. The recent updates they have done to the iPhone app have sped up the connection time when you get the motion alerts.

The cameras were easy to install and the resolution was good even at night.

I was not impressed with the Ring outdoor camera. The recording seemed to cut off after about 10 seconds although there was still motion in front of the camera and the picture quality was okay at best. I returned the Ring camera and purchased the Arlo system — much better system!

Good product. The need to improve the performance as it takes time to view the Iive mode. Also, requires yearly subscriptions to watch past videos. If they can come with a free cloud option to keep recording for the last 3 days, would be great or atleast an option for local recording via local memory

This was a father's day gift for my hubby. He liked the ring doorbell and mentionef it would be good to have a video on top view...hence the video ring! He love this! He knows for sure that our family is safe.

Make sure you thoroughly test the rssi of you wifi in the spot you plan to place it, I spent more money getting a good signal to it than the camera cost. Still a good product, ring support has been fantastic.

Great to keep an eye on my lawn equipment that's in my driveway

I wish it had on demand viewing. Hope this will available in the future. I was locking for a long time to find a device like this to monitor my sailboat. The infrared capture is an advantage over just motion capture.
