    Great HD cam view. Works on battery for power (also can use usb cable or solar panel) Just need to have good wifi in installed location.

    Very cool idea but connection to phone is not great and can only connect to one phone at a time. Hopefully these are software issues that will be addressed in future upgrades. Otherwise works pretty good.

    No need to have it hard wired like the door bell, can check in live anytime. Need the door bell to function this way.

    If you are looking for a stand alone "live" view camera, don't buy it. Manual says it supports live view, but only with their doorbell. When I called RINGS tech support they said "yes, we realize our manual says it does but really it doesn't YET, but we are working on it" Battery life...less than 30 days I bought 5/3 battery lasted 15 days...returned 6/3"

      Hi 3Fan, Live View is currently available for Ring Video Doorbell Pro and hardwired Ring Video Doorbell. We're working on Live View for Stick Up Cam currently. Also, battery life is contingent on usage so the volume of alerts you receive per day on your Stick Up Cam will affect the battery. We can provide optimal settings to conserve battery or we also recommend pairing your Stick Up Cam with Ring Solar Panel for a constant charge.
